In history, what people have committed one of the seven deadly sins more than anyone else in history?
Im writing a novel, and in it, the main character is going into hell, and what im thinking is going to happen, is he is going to have to fight a different person from from each deadly sin that has done the worst to deserve it.
So basically, someone that committed the worst:
wrath sin
lust sin
gluttony sin
greed sin
sorrow sin
despair sin
pride sin
in history(one person for each sin)
well i think that Adolf Hitler did every one of those.
Adolf Hitler
Attila the Hun
Benito Mussolini
Whoever ever was the leader of Japan during WW2 because after we stopped supplying them they attacked pearl harbor.
Adolf Hitler The killing of all the Jews and families and thousands of other men and women who were killed.
Andrew Jackson who believed that the white Southerners were better then the black slavs.
I think that’s more of a matter of opinion than anything else.
You could always look at Dante’s Inferno for ideas on people, although most of his people consist of people the author personally disliked.

many people did but what I think is sad is how many leaders of the catholic church committed these sins. i mean, they are the ones preaching all of this to the rest of us! (btw I am catholic)

You don’t have all the deadly sins right.
They are: pride, envy, wrath, gluttony, lust, avarice, and sloth.
Since this is your novel, and this is really the entire plot, don’t you think you should come up with these people? Otherwise, what is the point?
