What powers/abilities would you give the seven deadly sins?
What powers/abilities would you give the seven deadly sins? give one or two for each sin:
Wrath, Greed, Envy, Lust, Pride, Gluttony, Sloth
(if you like anime and manga try not to give the same powers as the homunculus from FMA)
I’d like to see what people come up with that take it seriously
Note that I first give an abstract (aka "cool") description, then the power in plain English.
Wrath – Fierce fire, flash, then silence. (bam bam explosions)
Greed – Desire waxes eternal, well without bottom. (a kind of charging black hole attack)
Envy – Black wool blindness, taking that which it seeks. (causes enemies to fight amongst themselves)
Lust – Siren’s call, hero’s fall. (a trappy lure attack)
Pride – The pillar of stone which moves for nothing but itself. (extremely strong defense)
Gluttony – A thousand grinding teeth upon a red hill. (eats stuff, isn’t that what gluttony always does?)
Sloth – Decay of soul, life flows slowly. (an attack that causes severe weakness)
I enjoyed this way too much.
Greed would be poison. Lust would be mind control. Envy would be being able to shift your body into anyone. Sloth, can put ppl to sleep. Wrath can make your blood boil, til it bursts out your body hurty worse than anything you can imagine. Gluttony can eat people whole and pride is the boss.

Greed – Midas touch: turn things to gold (could have some interesting offensive/defensive uses)
Envy – can take on the powers of an enemy
Lust – charm: turn enemies against each other
Pride – mastery of weapons (level of technique to be proud of)
Gluttony – eats stuff (can’t stray from FMA there)
Sloth – telekinesis (what better way to not have to move?)
