They’re the same 7 deadly sins you’ll find in Christianity, just examined with science fiction settings.

It’s a book, an anthology (a collection) of sci-fi tales chosen by Isaac Asimov and published in 1980, based on The traditional 7 Deadly Sins of Christianity, but put into a sci-fi setting. The tales are all by authors who were, or became, successful sci-fi writers – except for the last story, by an author I’ve never heard of since.
1. Galley Slave by Isaac Asimov
2. Sail 25 by Jack Vance
3. Peeping Tom by Judith Merril
4. Divine Madness by Roger Zelazny
5. Margin of Profit by Poul Anderson
6. Midas Plague by Frederik Pohl
7. The hook, The Eye and The Whip by Michael G. Coney
THE LAST ONE IS THE AUTHOR I’VE NEVER HEARD OF.
There is also a sort of added-on story to number 6, also by Frederik Pohl, called The Man Who Ate The World
Hope this all helps
