How can a person beat one of the seven deadly sin, in this case sloth?
we all know what Sloth is but how can a person beat it and keep it away? please take your time to explain in detail if possible.
Sloth is the willful failure to love God and his works. We overcome this will diligence. This means that instead of saying just one rosary, we will say two to train us to be better at God’s love. Another component is when we "Fail to … " Since the Beatitudes and works of mercy (cloth the naked, feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty) are a Big part of God’s love … when we knowingly fail to help those in need we are slothful.
Don’t engage yourself in sloth. Seems pretty simple. Stay active.

If you are introverted, it can be kind of difficult. These days, I would generalize Sloth as watching tv all the time. There is nothing wrong with it from time to time, but just don’t let it overtake your life.
The same is true for most things not taken in moderation. Have a drink with dinner, just don’t get drunk all the time.
Try to find hobbies to keep you busy if you don’t like the idea of becoming more extroverted. Do things to engage your mind and exercise if you can. Find a balance between mind and body and you will be fine..

Begin by making yourself do things. Try to limit yourself on relax/lazy times. Perhaps set a timer and when it goes off, do your best to make yourself get up and work/do something.
The key to anything is to start doing it. The more you do it, the more you get USED to doing it.
Sloth is pretty much one of my problems. But that’s also because I’m busy playing with my daughter.
