Designs for seven deadly sin masks?

Ok so i have about 6/7 weeks of free time before college and a virtually empty deviantart gallery (http://keiara-death.deviantart.com/gallery/) , SO i have desided to do a new project… masquerade masks representing the seven deadly sins. I have had a look on Da but can’t rlly find anything that sparks my inspiration. Can anyone help with sybols for each sin (Envy, lust, gluttony, pride, greed, solth, wrath)

I had some ideas such as lots of gold for greed, roses and thorns for lust, a snake and some sequins for envy and maybe some fragments of mirrior for pride. Sloth nd gluttony are annoying as a can’t think of anything. Could anyone give suggestions and tell me what you think of my ideas???

Wow this is a cool idea!

Your ideas so far sound really good! Here’s what I could think of:

Include some peacock feathers for pride.

For gluttony, go for excess in materials, feathers on top of sequins on top of fabric on top of ribbons hanging down. The less they match the better, because the point would be decadence for the sake of decadence.

For sloth, you could keep it very simple, to show the point of laziness. If the masks are made out of a material that can take stitching, get a needle and some ribbon and do a simple stitch around the edges, and then stop part of the way through and tie off the ribbon while leaving the end hanging free, maybe even frayed a little bit. Repeat on the other side, making the weaving of the ribbon very sporadic and stopped in some places. Then you could place sequins in one corner and stop and place some in another place and stop.

For wrath you could use paint or even physically tear the mask so it looks as if it was clawed in some way going across the eye. Include lots of red and dangerous looking broken pieces of material.

I hope this helps or sparks some ideas of your own!
