« Why is pride a deadly sin?

Does the deadly sin "pride" apply to your faith?

I know it’s nasty but how do you apply it?
because it makes me sick and I am not even religious

I had a boss (an Englishster) that called me arrogant and prideful.
I told him no one would know the train was coming into the station if it didn’t toot it’s own horn.

  5. I have no faith, but I have LaVeyan Satanic leanings. Pride factors in no more than to prevent me from doing that which is harmful to me. If it doesn’t disgust you, I see myself as my own god and therefore capable of shaping my own destiny. If I may, I wonder why you hate pride so much. Do you have none, or do you see too many people express what you deem as excess?

    No..Because there are not any Seven Deadly Sins ( one of WHich is Claimed to be Pride by the
    RCS in the BIBlE

    THE SOUL ( WHO SINNETH DIES,… Ezekiel 18,20 ( THE PRICE OF ALL SIN is DEATH)

  13. man these days is so far away from god he can’t even see that pride is in and of it’s self a sin .. the bible says the signs of the last days are .. people calling good bad and bad good .. These are lies repeated over and over so much and even preached instead of the gospel in church .. the good news preached instead of christs death in our place .. is now … you are really a good person and just need to be built up so you can reach your highest potential ….
