I’m not entirely sure, myself. I’ve read different versions of what you stated. One source I read stated that he actually wrote some parts, another that early followers put it together after his death.I have my own theory that the Koran was put together similarly to the Bible, in that parts were written during his life and others were written by his disciples later.

i thought the koran …
i thought the koran was not really physically written by mohamad although it was revealed to him by God. it was written or put together sometime after his death by his early disciples. please correct me if i am wrong.
