It is funny that the people who believe so strongly in hell and the bible are destined to go to hell.

Most Americans are fat and I am sure their is a positive correlation between religiosity and obesity.

If gluttony is not going to fast food restaurants or eating for the sake of eating than what is it.

Yes, being fat is a sin, so is telling lies, being lazy, look at all the lazy people on welfare, I'm not talking about people who are disabled or old or have lost a job. I'm talking about people who have no desire to work and keep on pushing out babies and get many things for free. There are many sins. No one who goes to church is sinless, we are all sinners. We have flaws and many people go to church to fix these things not to keep on doing them. Yes, there is going to be fat people in heaven. Why, because God is the final Judge, not me or you. Many people who go to church and preach, are not going to heaven. God is no dummy. People think he is but he is not. He has the final say so. Also many fat people are not jolly, food for some people is like a drug for a drug addict, it's covering up problems. They are having issues in there lives where food seems to give them some sort of peace. Just like a drug addict it is an addiction and a hard one to beat. It's hard to give up food or diet when there is food everywhere. Thank god for those fat middle aged women running the churches because so many men out there who should be involved in Church and being role models and showing how to be a man to young boys in church are not there.

1Cr 6:19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Cr 6:20For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

These scriptures alone should tell a Christian not to be overweight. We should be healthy and strong. A person given to gluttony is not measuring up to God’s word.

Christians should also consider the end of those who overate out of their own lusts back in the Old Testament. God had rained down quail for them to eat and some kept eating and eating out of gluttony.

God requires more out of Christians than most people realize.

Psa 78:27He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like as the sand of the sea:

Psa 78:28And he let [it] fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.

Psa 78:29So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

Gluttony is a sin, but it IS forgivable. People that are "overweight" may not necessarily be gluttons. There are medical conditions (thyroid problems) and other factors that can cause obesity. Eating disorders are like drug addiction and alcoholism. These are diseases, not sins. Try focusing on your own life and your own sins, because the sins of others aren't really your concern, are they?

dude. can i just say that not all fat people are gluttons? It could be in their genes. Not all of us are born thin or have the perfect bodies.
By the way, Christians aren’t perfect. We’re people too, in fact. We are capable of sin. We are capable of getting fat.
I’m a Christian. I’m not fat. It’s in my genes.
Stop asking insipid questions just to try to prove something against the Christians in the world. It’s either that or you discriminate all the fat people in the world, trying to relate it to Christianity so you can discriminate both at the same time.

Last time I checked, the only requirement for going to Heaven is to have repented of your sins and accepted Jesus' atoning sacrifice on the Cross. Nobody said anything about size, color, political affiliation, or anything else having to do with this earth.
