What colors do you associate with each of the 7 Deadly Sins, and why do you associate them with those colors?

The 7 Deadly Sins are: Sloth, Gluttony, Pride, Greed, Lust, Wrath, and Envy.
I’m not sure how this is a joke or how it’s funny. And I’m not a religious person, but I was curious as to what colors people associate with certain feelings/emotions. ‘Tis all.

Envy – Green (Phrase green with envy)
Wrath – Red (Phrase red with anger)
Lust – Red (Stereotypical love color)
Greed – Green (Money)
Gluttony – Green (Reminds me of jello [No idea])
Pride – Blue (Awesome color; awesome sin)
Sloth – Brown (Some sloths are brown)

I’m thinking of perhaps writing a paper on the topic. The Seven Deadly Sins are Lust, Envy, Anger, Greed, Sloth, Gluttony and Pride. I was thinking Svidrigailov for Lust, Marmeladov for Gluttony, Raskolnikov for Pride, and the pawnbroker for Greed. Now I’m not sure about the other 3. Does anyone have any ideas?

My fraternity is having one of it’s biggest parties soon and the theme is Seven Deadly Sins. I rather not take the easy way out and be a sloth with no costume, but it’s rather difficult thinking of anything else.

Well you can go as the sin Sloth and not wear a costume, perfectly exemplifying sloth.

Is there such thing as getting infected by a sin?

I don’t know much about sins, all I know is that there are seven deadly sins:
Lust, gluttony, envy, wrath, greed, pride and sloth.
Could someone explain why there are sins?

no your body wouldn’t be infected by those things but your soul would and you won’t notice that (and it won’t hurt you) till you go to the other life. if God’s said they’re sins he’s just wanted people’s souls to remain pure and good so they won’t go to Hell. but if you do those things, your soul would get darker n darker. but as i said before it wouldn’t hurt you like an illness.

Wrath isn’t a sin? Thinking of sinning is a sin itself. Did Jesus not say in his Sermon on the Mount, look upon a woman with lust in your heart and cut your eyes out to prevent such thoughts again?
