Is there such thing as getting infected by a sin?

I don’t know much about sins, all I know is that there are seven deadly sins:
Lust, gluttony, envy, wrath, greed, pride and sloth.
Could someone explain why there are sins?

no your body wouldn’t be infected by those things but your soul would and you won’t notice that (and it won’t hurt you) till you go to the other life. if God’s said they’re sins he’s just wanted people’s souls to remain pure and good so they won’t go to Hell. but if you do those things, your soul would get darker n darker. but as i said before it wouldn’t hurt you like an illness.

I am being wrath from the seven deadly sins for halloween and need ideas… currently i just look like a slutty bloody angel. So far I have white feathered wings and torn teeshirt both with blood on them. a see through white skirt,with black short type things underneath, red eyelashes, and red fishnets

I think on that T-Shirt you should have a quote about anger or something, just so it has some connection with wrath like.
"I don’t break hearts. No. I DESTROY THEM"
"I’m so Angry right now, I could kill for some wrath"

What would you say is the deadly sin you’re most guilty of any why?

Mine is wrath
Lust with Sloth … euwwwww. Are they easy to catch?

Note that my love of lust & wrath is somewhat mitigated by my slothfulness.

any simple-ish ideas for depicting each of the seven deadly sins as a video?

i have to make a 30 second video for each of the seven deadly sins..
wrath, gluttony, sloth, lust, envy, pride and greed.
any help ?

For sloth, a good scene would be someone sleeping on the couch while other people do hard work nearby.

For gluttony, you can make a table, put fake food on it, and show someone sitting at the table, holding up a fork.

For greed, you could show someone in fancy clothes waving a dollar in a poorer person’s face.

For envy, you could show two people, one with an iPod, and the other with another MP3 player, and the person with the other MP3 player wants to have an iPod so much.

For pride, a good scene would be somebody who wants to be more important than everybody else, and acts like it.

For wrath, you could show a peron committing a crime against someone who they’re extremely angry at.

And last, but not least, for lust, I’d show something along the lines of a man staring at an attractive woman.

Wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. What’s your poison and please explain?

The term deadly sin is not used by the Church anymore they call these sins "vices". Which are sins that lead to other sins which can lead a person into a life of sin they are Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth, Envy, and Gluttony.
The deadly sin which is mentioned in Scripture is mortal sin. In which a person has full knowledge and intention of committing the sin which violate God’s Law.

If anyone sees his brother sinning, if the sin is not deadly, he should pray to God and he will give him life. This is only for those whose sin is not deadly. There is such a thing as deadly sin, about which I do not say that you should pray.

Why do you think God said worshiping idols is a sin?

That would be a form of jealousy. Jealousy leads to some of the seven deadly sins such as Greed, Wrath, Envy, and others, no? Why would God be jealous? Demanding that we worship him seems greedy, no?

None is any worse than any other.
The seven deadly sins are a list originally used in early Christian teachings to educate and instruct followers concerning fallen man’s tendency to sin. The misconception about the list of seven “deadly” sins is that they are sins that God will not forgive. The Bible is clear that the only sin God will not forgive is that of continued unbelief, because it rejects the only means to obtain forgiveness—Jesus Christ and His substitutionary death on the cross.
According to Pope Gregory the Great in the 6th century, the seven deadly sins are as follows: pride, envy, gluttony, lust, anger, greed, and sloth. Although these are undeniably sins, they are never given the description of "the seven deadly sins" in the Bible. The traditional list of seven deadly sins can function as a good way to categorize the many different sins that exist. Nearly every kind of sin could be placed under one of the seven categories. More importantly, we must realize these seven sins are no more “deadly” than any other sin. All sin results in death (Romans 6:23). Praise be to God, that through Jesus Christ, all of our sins, including the “seven deadly sins,” can be forgiven (Matthew 26:28; Acts 10:43; Ephesians 1:7).

There are 7 planets, each is symbolic of one of the 7 deadly sins

Wrath
Envy
Sloth
Gluttony
Greed
Lust
Vanity

Pick one or a few and describe how you think a planet would look based on it. You don’t have to go into great depth.

For example:
Lust– It would have a red sky during the daytime, pink leaves on trees, white grass and plants. The animals would be rather small and cute. Something like that.

A planet about Lust wouldn’t look "cute" to me… it would be passionate. Architecture sharp and dark, like black lace and spiders.

Vanity would be a land of mirrors and diamonds, everything sparkling, everything reflecting.

Greed would be a planet of disconnectedness, with tracts of land separated by huge fences, with each person the lord over their private domain.

Gluttony would look just like the United States.
