I know the seven deadly sins: pride sloth lust envy greed wrath glutney but my questions are how are the the way the homuculi died in fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood ironic all of them and i like writing chinese characters on my nails so how do u write the 7 deadly sins in chinese u can just copy in paste in on from what ever site you want just leave a link so i can use it later and dont say google like an asshole but thanx anyway

Question 1): How are the Homunculi’s deaths ironic in correspondence to their respective sins?

In the manga, all of the named Homunculi die in a way related to the sin they ‘embody’:
* Lust is burned to death by a man well known as a serial dater;
* Greed is boiled down for his most valuable part;
* Gluttony is eaten by Pride’s shadows;
* Envy kills himself out of jealousy and self-loathing;
* Sloth gets worn out by a long fight;
* Wrath is dismembered by one of the vengeful people he tried to exterminate;
* Pride, while never actually being killed, was stripped of his powers and reduced to the form of one of the creatures that he despised.

Question 2): What are the Seven Deadly Sins in Chinese?

Wrath 愤怒
Greed 贪婪
Sloth 懒惰
Pride 骄傲
Lust 淫欲
Envy 嫉妒
Gluttony 贪婪

I have seen threads about this before but I dont want to go as a person with the sin (Donald Thrump for greed) I want to go as the idea of the sin. Please help, and nothing stupid about sloth not dressing up or not going.

ok here it is (ive thought this through before haha)

SLOTH (in pajamas), WRATH (red vampy dress, red streaks in hair, holding weapon maybe fake knife), GLUTNEY (food in pockets, lobster bib, fork and spoon, food stains on clothes), VANITY/PRIDE (carrying mirror, lots of makeup, beauty queen, trophy) GREED (money in pockets and hands, lots of big rings and jewelry business suit, maybe lawyer) ENVY (green outfit, idk what else, maybe fake snake) LUST (slutty outfit)

Do chubsters stand a chance to get into heaven when greed and sloth are deadly sins?

Absolutely. Not all "chubsters" are guilty of those sins, and not all skinny people are innocent of those sins.

Envy is mentioned in the Ten Commandments; it says "Thou shalt not covet." Being envious or jealous can lead someone to commit evil acts such as revenge.

Sloth isn’t relaxing, it’s being totally lazy and not doing any work. Who wants to support an able bodied person who doesn’t contribute their fair share of work?

Are sloth and gluttony deadly sins for witches too?

You can’t exactly saw he doesn’t had a godly ego. And he tramps around saying how everything is his, and nobody can have anything without his say so. He’s envious if any other god gets attention, and if they do he smites the entire city. He had sex with an underage girl. And he took 7 days to make everything, if I was omnipotent, I wouldn’t waste time, I’d blink everything into existence.

The only thing that’s missing is his fat belly. Kindof a lousy divine role model if you ask me.

Remember this was his fist attempt so he probably took 7 days to make sure he got it right, oh well at least he tried.

What does "Sloth" mean in terms of the Seven Deadly Sins?

I was looking around on a voice synthesizer band VOCALOID, and came across a series of songs called "The Seven Deadly Sins." One of the sins that one of the songs were based on was "Sloth." I was confused on what did "Sloth" meant in terms of the Seven Deadly Sins. What does "Sloth" mean? I was just curious thank you!

Sloth is defined as spiritual or emotional apathy, neglecting what God has spoken, and being physically and emotionally inactive. Acedia is a Latin word, from Greek ἁκηδείᾱ, meaning "Carelessness".

Sloth can also indicate a wasting due to lack of use, concerning a person, place, thing, skill, or intangible ideal that would require maintenance, refinement, or support to continue to exist.

Religious views concerning the need for one to work to support society and further God’s plan and work also suggest that, through inactivity, one invites the desire to sin. In the Philokalia the word, dejection is used instead of sloth, for the man who falls into dejection will lose interest in life.
